		<description>Groups such as the American Psychological Association (APA) have been lobbying for parity laws for quite some time. While I enthusiastically agree with your contention that a person’s mental health is an important component to their overall health, the current healthcare debate in the US government has more to do with insuring the under and uninsured. Although the two subjects are indirectly connected at best, this may be a good time for parity advocates to try and draw attention to their cause.
